Miraflores and Barranco Tours: Walk, Bike or Ride?
5 min read
For most visitors: the Barranco Walking Tour with street art and photo stops. It lasts 2 hours, costs €12.56 and has 4.8 stars from 169 reviews. If you want to cover Miraflores as well, the choice is between a bike tour and a four-hour minibus tour.
Miraflores and Barranco sit next to each other on the cliffs above the Pacific, and every tour here links the two or stays in Barranco. They differ in how you move and how much ground you cover. All four offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start. More tours in the area are on the Miraflores and Barranco page.

Barranco on foot
The first walking tour meets at Av. Pedro de Osma 102, goes from there to Barranco’s Municipal Park and ends at the Malecón Souza. Its stops are the main square, the murals the page calls the city’s largest open-air street art gallery, the Bajada de Baños and the Bridge of Sighs. The page warns that the route includes stairs and uneven paths on the Bajada de Baños. Its list of who the tour does not suit names people with mobility impairments, while its notes speak of severe mobility impairments, so ask the guide if this applies to you. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The second walking tour covers similar ground: the murals on Calle 28 de Julio, the Bridge of Sighs, the La Ermita church and the Bajada de Baños. The meeting point is the Starbucks at Av. Pedro de Osma 102, the same address the first tour gives, and the page lists people with mobility impairments and wheelchair users as not suitable. It asks you to carry your passport, a clear photo of it or your entry document; a driver’s licence is not accepted, and without a valid document the page charges the additional 18% VAT (IGV).
On a bike
The bike tour meets at Calle Porta 461 in Miraflores and rides about 10 km on mostly flat ground with bike lanes. It goes from the Kennedy Park area along the Malecón to the Park of Love, past Larcomar and on to Barranco. The page lists city bikes with 26-inch wheels and certified helmets, the group is limited to six, and the guide speaks English. The page lists children under 13 as not suitable. The page says no strong fitness is needed.
By minibus
The four-hour tour is the one with hotel pickup, an air-conditioned vehicle and a guide in English. It visits Kennedy Park, the lighthouse, the Park of Love and Larcomar in Miraflores, then Barranco’s Municipal Park, the Bridge of Sighs and the Bajada de Baños, and the description ends it in Barranco, while the page also lists drop-off at a hotel or Airbnb, so ask where you will be left. Pickup details depend on your hotel, so check them on the booking page.
